Superclass Mycoovaria
Basic Description
Superclass Mycoovaria consists of any Hexapod Vertebrates that have an egg supported by Fungus mycillia, meaning that it forms from a cell that is supported by Fungi in a pouch where most developmental stages take place. They are more specialized for life on land than more primitive Hexapods, with the exception of Class Novabranchia, which evolved from terrestrial ancestors and only goes to land to breed. Their cells are interlaced with the mycillium of certain fungi, which form a symbiotic relationship with their host, the fungi receiving glucose from photosynthesis and other nutrients, as well as protection, in exchange for substances that protect the host from diseases and cancers and give them a wider tolerance of temperatures. These fungi also aid in the reproduction process.
